Home Zero Tolerance of Lost Souls [ZERO]

Introduction:

The following rules are NON negotiable for membership within ZERO.  Anyone found breaking these rules may be expelled from the guild depending on the severity of the situation.  Individuals who repeatedly show no concern for ZERO rules WILL be expelled.  Keep it fun and keep it clean, and you won’t have any problems.

All Member Rules:

  1. When using the "Guild" or " Alliance " channels, profanity is STRICTLY prohibited(see Chat Rules).
  2. If you have merchandise you would like to sell to other guild members, please do so via whispers.  You may make a SINGLE announcement on the guild channel stating that you are selling items.  However, the guild channel is not the “trade” channel and repeated “telemarketing” of what you’re selling is unacceptable.  If someone shows interest in the item(s) you’re selling please conduct the transaction via whispers.
  3. Never intentionally sell other guild members items you know are not worth the price you are asking.
  4. When in team missions with other guild members, if an officer is present HE/SHE is in charge unless otherwise stated.  If no officer is present, the “person in charge” will be left up to that group’s discretion.
  5. Always show respect for your fellow guild mates.  Slandering another’s beliefs is grounds for immediate expulsion from the guild.  No racial/religious/gender slurs or remarks will be tolerated.  NO EXCEPTIONS.
  6. Anyone who is inactive for 1 month without notifying ZERO’s Guild Leader or Officers will be kicked from the guild.

Chat Rules:

  1. Do not Spam Excessivly in Guild/Alliance chat, if you say it once and no one responds then they are probably occupied.
  2. If you are chatting in Guild/Alliance chat and are asked to stop by another member do respect their request.
  3. Avoid using offensive language in the Guild/Alliance chat since everyone in the guild can see it.

Should these rules be violated contact the leader immediatly through PM or in game.

Forum Rules:

Officers Rules:

  1. Officers may recruit anyone they deem worthy into ZERO, as well as offer visitor passes to anyone who would like to visit ZERO’s guild hall.
  2. Officers are prohibited from promoting general members of ZERO to Officer status.  While Guild Wars allows Officers to do such promotions, ZERO does not.  All Officer promotions will be handled by ZERO’s guild leader whose decision will be based on votes through the forum.  NO EXCEPTIONS.
  3. Officers of ZERO may kick members that do not follow the General Rules and have already been warned. In cases where that member demonstrates hostility and an unwillingness to cooperate with ZERO’s leadership that member may be kicked immediately.  If a Guild member has not logged on in 1 months time, that member will be automatically kicked unless previous approval has been given. This approval will be recorded in the Guild’s Forum.
  4. Officers are expected to be friendly and helpful at all times.  However “spoon feeding” Guild members does not qualify as being “friendly and helpful.”  Guild members are expected to carry their own weight, however if a Guild member is stuck in a mission or needs help in general please feel free to assist them.  If the same Guild member repeatedly asks for help, without demonstrating initiative to help themselves before hand, please let them know, via whispers, that while ZERO leadership is here to help them, they need to first help themselves.
  5. When participating in missions with other Officers, please discuss before hand who will be “in charge.”  A lack of communication in this area may lead to team strife, and mission failure.
  6. If an Officer wishes to participate in a GvG, by all means do so.  However, ranked GvG’s should always be discussed with the Guild Leader before hand.

Becoming an officer:

  1. There must be an opening (that will be posted on the forum).
  2. Candidate must accept Nomination in the forum.
  3. Candidates must be nominated by an existing officer.
  4. All officers will vote on candidate 2/3 majority required.
